Family Mass 9.30 @ St Aelreds Church

On Sunday, all children are invited to take part in the May
Procession and Crowning of Mary at the start of the 9.30am
mass at St Aelred’s Church. Children should gather at the back
of church just before the start of mass (9.25ish). They will need
to bring an individual or small bunch of flowers with them. We
look forward to seeing the children there, representing our
wonderful school.
It is also a Family Mass this Sunday. Children will be asked to help
greet the parishioners, read the readings and prayers, sing with
the Music Group and help with the offertory procession.
The mass begins at 9.30 a.m. and lasts for approximately one
hour. Children helping to lead the mass should be in church no
later than 9.15 a.m. After mass, there will be a coffee morning
in the Community Centre. Any offers of cakes or raffle prizes or
help with serving teas and coffees will be most gratefully
received! Please pop the cakes into the community centre
before mass if possible.
